Team Fusion are the synchronized skating teams, skating out of the Toyota Sports Center.
Synchronized skating is one of the fastest growing disciplines in figure skating. Teams are composed of 8-24 skaters who perform together, in constant motion, with synchronized moves, footwork and patterns.
Fusion is open to skaters of all ages and skating ability. In 2018-2019, we had 6 different synchronized skating teams, competing in both ISI and USFS.
The Fusion teams have been ISI National and World Champion teams many times over, as well as USFS Sectional Champions and US National Competitors! Contact FusionSynchro@ToyotaSportsCenter.com for more info.
Ice Theater: Theatre On Ice is a form of competitive figure skating that is popular in Europe, where it is known as Ballet on Ice. It combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theater and dance. Teams consist of between eight and 30 skaters. The programs are judged are evaluated on technical merit and presentation with emphasis on originality, costuming, artistry and musicality. There are several TOI teams and TOI competitions around the country. Skaters, both competitive and noncompetitive, can learn and grow on a theatre team. Skaters can experience great rewards from forming and/or joining a Theatre On Ice team. Skaters receive the following benefits:
