July 2, 2020 Covid-19 Update

Protocols

  • Masks are required for entrance into and while in TSPC. They are highly recommended but are not required for on ice exercise activities.

LA County Health Guidelines Link http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/Coronavirus/docs/protocols/Reopening_FitnessEstablishments.pdf

  • Currently there are no locker rooms open for use and no bags allowed in the building.  It is recommended that you come dressed, ready to skate with minimal equipment.  PLEASE- do not change in the facility. If needed use the area in the stands by the rink, under one of the Group #1 or Group #2 signs.  Please social distance when using these designated areas.

Additional reminders:

  • ONLY PARTICIPANTS that have been health screened are allowed in the downstairs area. If you need assistance, please ask the staff at the welcome tent for help.
  • The North Pond Door is for Participants & Coaches ENTRANCE ONLY. DO NOT exit out of this door regardless of which ice surface your activity is on.  Please proceed to the Main Stairs in front of the Skate Counter to the second floor, then exit out of the Main Front Doors.
  • For Freestyle and Hockey Fitness Sessions, please CALL IN and pay by 7:00PM the day prior to reserve your space on the iceThis allows our staff to prepare the rosters for check in and handle the calls coming in for the next day of reservations.  It also helps to limit the exposure of our staff in Guest Services.

Thank you for your cooperations,

TSPC Management

TSPC Announcement Update

We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening the Toyota Sports Performance Center in a reduced capacity beginning Friday, June 12, 2020.  TSPC will be offering Day Camps, Gym and Fitness Activities by prepaid reservation.  There will be no open public programing during this phase.  Please contact your program director for your specific program information and “HOW TO” get back on the ice.  We are very excited to get skating again and look forward to seeing all of you soon!

Protocols and Best Practices

These are general protocols and best practices that will be implemented upon reopening of the facility. Programs will be modified to meet the occupancy and distancing requirements per the County Health Department, Local, State and Federal Guidelines.

  1. The Toyota Sports Performance Center strictly adheres to all CDC, CDPH, and Los Angeles County Health       Department guidelines and mandates
  2. Dedicated cleaning crew continuously disinfects locker rooms, player benches, rest rooms, and common areas with the new Electrostatic Foggers containing virus-killing Botanical Disinfectant Solution
  3. Additional hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the facility and are continuously refilled
  4. Facility square footage is sufficient to allow social distancing
  5. Kings Cove and Ultimate skate open with limited hours. Main lobby of TSPC open to the public without Health Screening
  6. All employees, Day Camp, Gym, and fitness customers are subject to health checks including temporal thermometer scans prior to entering the facility
  7. All employees are to wear facemasks (as mandated) and will be required to wash or sanitize their hands regularly throughout their shifts
  8. Water fountains and showers are closed
  9. Day Campers, Gym and Fitness customers will enter through the south pond door (to the left of the main stairs) after checking in and being health screen checked at the welcome tent and exit upstairs.
  10. Increased ventilation and dehumidification settings in the facility
  11. Facility capacity reduced from 1401 to 350; (150 per rink area) 603 to 250 (employees & guest common areas)
  12. Please stay home if you have a fever or cold and/or flu-like symptoms.  Temporal thermometer scans will be utilized for select programs and are available at the Welcome Tent and/or Guest Services.

As Covid-19 is a fluid situation and guidelines may change, these protocols and best practices are subject to change by the Toyota Sports Performance Center at any time at the sole discretion of management to maximize customer and employee safety.
